How JX Enterprises Is Evolving Truck Sales Beyond Selling Trucks

Sometimes those responsibilities turn into challenges or obstacles to keeping operations running smoothly. Enter the JX Business Development Program: the Swiss Army knife of truck dealer personnel. JX Enterprises’ BDP provides customers with a single point of contact to help troubleshoot issues, create solutions, and represent the full range of resources available throughout the network of JX Truck Centers.

Comprehensive, Total Dealership Training

BDP candidates are carefully recruited, comprehensively trained, and keenly focused on further improving the complete customer experience. By building strong customer relationships, they fulfill their mission by anticipating needs and proactively providing solutions. They act as all-in-one conduits between customers and the various dealership departments, from aftermarket and financing to truck sales, lease, and rental.

The initial training period includes intensive hands-on work shadowing department leaders in parts, service, rental and leasing, and new and pre-owned truck sales, including accompanying seasoned sales executives on customer visits. 

New Program, New Levels of Shared Success

It’s a rigorous process that is essential to laying out the steps to be successful and, more importantly, helping our customers see success through improved efficiencies, productivity, and profitability. This ensures they go into the field with all the necessary tools in their toolboxes to serve almost all customer needs.

Importantly, the program helps them build a network within our organization, putting the full use of our shared resources and expertise behind every customer interaction. Working side-by-side with colleagues in each department builds bonds and provides diverse experiences, helping provide customers with realistic expectations and practical solutions.

BDP graduates enter the marketplace as generalists and consultants, true business partners with the knowledge and skills to bring the broad spectrum of JX resources and organizational strength to every challenge and every opportunity. 

Now, the implementation of our Business Development Program is not meant to replace the many long-term relationships already firmly in place between our customers and other JX team members. Rather, they complement and enhance the best-in-class customer service and the overall experience our customers expect from us. We’re again raising the bar, another step in our devotion to continuous improvement and unparalleled customer satisfaction.
