The 2017 Green Bay football season kicks off with JX Truck Center as the official touchdown sponsor, for the second year.
JX partners with the Packers Radio Network to, once-again, sponsor Green Bay touchdowns during the 2017 football season.
“We had a successful partnership with Packers Radio Network last season,” says Eric Jorgensen, President and CEO of JX. “I had people calling me from all across the country saying they heard our message on the radio. That’s powerful.”
This sponsorship, part of the JX sales and marketing efforts, includes 30-second radio spots, live reads, and VIP hospitality at the legendary Lambeau Field. Best of all, JX Truck Center sponsors all green and gold touchdowns with live name mentions after every 6-point score.
“Last year, we focused on building brand awareness. This year, our focus is also to educate listeners on all that our brand offers, including sales, parts, service, financing, and career opportunities,” says Jorgensen. “We also capitalize on our nationally recognized 401(k) plan.”
According to Packers Radio Network, each broadcast reaches around 2.1 million listeners. Their broadcast network is made up of 56 stations throughout the Midwest with affiliates in seven states. All home and away games in the Milwaukee market air on the Packers Flagship AM620 WTMJ. Listeners can also tune in online at www.wtmj.com/listen-live.
The 2017 football season marks the 88th consecutive year that WTMJ has been a broadcast partner with the Green Bay Packers. It is the longest running broadcast partnership in sports, dating back to 1929. Play-by-play announcers, Wayne Larrivee and Larry McCarren, have been on the call together for nearly 20 years.
Pre-season kicks off at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, in Green Bay. To hear this game and future games, tune in to any of the 56 stations on the Packers Radio Network, and listen for Green Bay touchdowns sponsored by JX Truck Center.
Green Bay is known for its legendary football team, and JX, known as the premier medium- and heavy-duty truck dealer in the Upper Midwest, is proud to be a part of the legend.
