JX Enterprises Hosts Second Annual JX Gives Back Charity Golf Outing

HARTLAND WI, October 8, 2019 – The second annual JX Gives Back Charity Golf outing was held at the Chenequa Golf Club in Hartland, WI on September 16, 2019 raising $30,000. The proceeds will be equally awarded to four 501(c)(3) non-profit charities that were selected by the JX Gives Back Committee.

• Wisconsin: Rogers Behavioral Health Foundation – Oconomowoc, WI

The Foundation supports patients and programs at Rogers Behavioral Health, a nationally recognized provider of evidence-based mental health and addiction services.

• Illinois: Deborah’s Place – Chicago, IL

For 35 years, Deborah’s Place has provided safe, stable housing and supportive services to women experiencing homelessness in Chicago. Last year, Deborah’s Place served more than 370 women.

• Indiana: The Indiana Youth Institute – Indianapolis, IN (Statewide Programs)

The Indiana Youth Institute’s mission is to improve the lives of all Indiana children by strengthening and connecting people, organizations, and communities that are focused on kids and youth. 

• Michigan: The Michigan Environmental Council – Lansing, MI (Statewide Outreach)

Created in 1980, coordinating and working with over 66 member groups to enact state and local policies that protect Michigan’s environment.

The JX Gives Back Charity Golf Outing is an evolution from five previous Polar Plunge events which raised over $150,000 for cancer research. JX Gives Back is an important part of the JX Enterprises mission to give back to our local communities, because there is more to us than trucks.
