HARTLAND, Wis. (August 26, 2022) – JX Truck Centers took an innovative approach to help customers buy a quality pre-owned truck and donate to a worthwhile charity with their purchase, raising more than $22,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Homes For Our Troops and Truckers Against Trafficking.
The JX Trucks for a Cause Program donated $200 per truck purchase in the customers’ name to the charity of their choice among the three organizations, raising a total of $22,400 in just two months.
“The JX Trucks for a Cause Program, working with the JX Gives Back Family Foundation (JXGBFF), helped customers effortlessly give to a great cause while getting a great JX-certified pre-owned truck,” said Cindy Campbell, JX Enterprises’ Vice President of Used Truck and Finance Sales. “Nearly 60 customers purchased more than 110 trucks and we donated a portion of each sale in their name to the charity of their choice from the three non-profits we partnered with. Customers were delighted with the program, knowing they were contributing to a worthwhile cause with their purchase, backed by our unbeatable after-sale support.”
JXGBFF presented the donations to the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Homes For Our Troops and Truckers Against Trafficking this month.
Campbell noted, “The success of this program provides a provable platform that lays the foundation for similar future promotions. Helping customers make a charitable contribution with no effort or out-of-pocket expense is simply a win for everyone.”
JX Enterprises established the JXGBFF in 2017 to cultivate vibrant communities and create a culture of giving. JXGBFF raises money for numerous local, regional and national charities through biweekly employee contributions, an annual monetary match by the Jorgensen family and external donations. JXGBFF is overseen by a Board of Directors comprised of JX Enterprises’ employees. It secured its 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2020.
