JX Enterprises Appoints Herman Goth to Vice President of Lease, Rental and Organizational Communication

HARTLAND, Wis. (January 2, 2023) – JX Enterprises announced it has promoted Herman Goth, who has been with the company for nearly 30 years, to the executive leadership team as Vice President of Lease, Rental and Organizational Communication. In his new role, Goth will continue to lead JX Rental and JX Leasing, with new responsibilities to streamline communications with a focus on further enhancing the JX Customer Xperience.

“It is a great pleasure to give Herman an extremely well-earned promotion. During multiple leadership roles with JXE, Herman has redefined expectations with an exceptional skill set and management style that brings greater efficiency, productivity and profitability to every challenge he takes on,” said Hannah Jorgensen-Freeman, JXE’s third-generation successor to the dealership group. “Notably, Herman has the unique distinction of being promoted by every generation of the Jorgensen family since the company was founded in 1970.”

Goth first joined the company, then operating as Peterbilt of Wisconsin, in 1995 as Service Advisor at the Madison, Wis., dealership. He recalls he was there to sell his truck and trailer because he was transitioning from being an owner-operator of 15 years to a career that allowed him to spend more time with his family.

“I was at the conference table selling my truck and trailer when the Parts and Service Director came in and asked me what I was going to do next,” Goth said. “He offered me the position of Service Advisor to help provide a perspective from the other side of the counter.”

He was promoted to Service Manager a short time later by the company’s Owner and President Chuck Jorgensen, who founded JXE. In 2000, Eric Jorgensen, second-generation owner and current JXE President and CEO, gave Goth the keys to running the Madison dealership and he brought the location to record levels of sales and customer satisfaction. His promotion to Vice President of Lease, Rental and Organizational Communication was championed by third-generation leadership Hannah Jorgensen-Freeman and was enthusiastically endorsed by Eric Jorgensen.

Reflecting on his tenure and new role, Goth said “I’m pretty moved by that. At many family-owned businesses, by the time the third generation is in a leadership capacity, they may not see the value, benefit and insight that experienced employees bring to the organization. The Jorgensens are definitely an exception.”

Goth has helped lead the company in positions of increasing responsibility throughout his JXE career, including managing multiple roles at once.

“I’ve had a habit of not doing just one job at any given time,” he said. “I very much enjoy devising systems and processes that allow people to do their jobs more effectively and efficiently. A top priority in my new position is to put that passion to work implementing, training and optimizing the organization on new communication platforms and practices, including the rollout of our new CRM infrastructure. The goal is to have the right people on the right assignments at all times, removing redundant and unnecessary communication, to best serve our customers and achieve new levels of satisfaction.”
