JX is a second-generation, family-owned company
Chuck Jorgensen founded JX in 1970. Both Eric and Kurt Jorgensen, Chuck’s sons, have worked at the company after graduating college. In 2000, Eric succeeded his father as President & CEO, and before retiring in 2016, Kurt held a number of roles in new and used truck sales.

JX has its own traveling food truck called the JX Chuck Wagon
The Chuck Wagon has a double meaning for us at JX. In the old days, across the West, a chuck wagon hauled food similar to the food trucks of today. “Chuck” is also the first name of our founder, Chuck Jorgensen. The Chuck Wagon was created in his honor and travels around the Midwest servin’ up hospitality!

Our 45th Anniversary logo has a special significance
JX’s marketing team, along with the help of Eric Jorgensen, President & CEO, created the 45th anniversary logo to include components from the brands that have “fueled” our success. The top of the emblem is inspired by the Peterbilt fuel cap pull, and the outer circle mirrors the Volvo fuel cap.

The first JX dealership was opened in 1970
Our flagship dealership was opened in 1970 with just five Associates under the name Peterbilt of Wisconsin. This location is now referred to as JX Peterbilt – Waukesha and still remains an iconic landmark for travelers in the area!

JX has its own financing division
JX Financial, or JXF as it’s more commonly referred to, consists of a team of financial professionals who are experts in the trucking industry. For over 35 years, JXF customers have been driving away in the truck of their dreams.

Located in Madison, Wisconsin, and founded in 2002, JX Graphics serves fleets and owner-operators, as well as automobile and motorcycle owners. Projects range from simple as vehicle numbering to complex as full-color, vehicle wraps. In fact, the JX Chuck Wagon was wrapped by JX’s very own graphics professionals.

Dee Jorgensen – a lasting impact
Dee Jorgensen’s generous heart, passion for education, and love for her community has left a lasting impact on the culture of JX. Late wife of Chuck Jorgensen and mother to Eric and Kurt, Dee led by example and passed down this passion to her entire family. Although Dee passed away in October 2014, her legacy remains a beacon of light for many.
