On Thursday, January 21, locally owned JX Enterprises (Parent Company of Peterbilt Wisconsin & Illinois) celebrated 40 years in business. With 12 dealerships across Wisconsin and Illinois, this dealer group has grown significantly since the first location opened in Waukesha, Wis. on January 21, 1970.
“I started with a team of five back in 1970. It’s pretty amazing to see JX Enterprises
grow to over 400 employees.” Said Chuck
Jorgensen, founder of JX Enterprises. From the original team of five, three associates are still active in the organization, Jerry Kunick – JX PacLease Office Manager, Gary Krogmann – Body Shop Technician, and founder Chuck Jorgensen – Director of the Advisory Board.
In 2000, JX Enterprises became a second generation business as Eric & Kurt Jorgensen took over leadership of the day to day operations. JX Enterprises is a strong family owned organization that has made a positive impact in the communities it serves.
“I am proud to see this organization has withstood the test of time. In 40 years we have seen a lot of changes, from technology shifts and emission standards to economic booms and sharp declines. I’m proud to say we have provided 40 years of transportation solutions and first class service in the Midwest. We look forward to see what the next 40 years will bring.” Said Eric Jorgensen, President & CEO.
